I keep getting this message Activation Server error - code E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY

I have bought a book that needs to be opened through Adobe Digital Editions.

I have tried the steps below but can't get past step 3 as I can't find Digital Editions. Thank you for your help

Issue

When authorizing the eReader device on Mac OS X, you receive error "E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY."

Solution

• Choose Utilities > Open Keychain Access Application.

• Select the login keychain and unlock it by clicking the padlock icon next to it.If you do not remember the keychain password, see Resetting your keychain in Mac OS X.

• On the right side, there's a list of applications. Double-click Digital Editions.

• Select the Access Control Menu.

• Select Allow All Applications To Access This Item and save changes.
• Launch Digital Editions and you can authorize now.
