This is ridiculous. Why can't you write a piece of software that doesn't 1) randomly de-authorize my Kobo reader 2) randomly crash, then when I restart it shows an empty library (rebooting the entire system seems to fix this, for now) 3) screw up when two separate Win 10 users on one machine try and use it for separate libraries and readers?
It's 2020, can you write software that doesn't act like it was written in someone's basement. I'm really, really, tired of years of this nonsense. Once again I'm trying to load a library book to my Kobo, and first you tell me my reader's not authorized (it was 2 days ago) and when I try to reload the book into ADE, my library disappears first, and then the book.

So, I reset my Kobo then re-installed ADE 4.5. Started ADE. It froze up, now I have to restart my whole system.
Doesn't this embarrass you? Your software WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY ON A FULLY UPDATED, FULLY FUNCTIONING MACHINE. I'm taking a break, I've spent the better part of an hour on this nonsense and have better things to do. Between you and Microsloth I could spend all day getting my computer to do the basic tasks it it's supposed to. Thanks for wasting my time.

Well, congratulations. ADE won't run, I can't read ANYTHING on my e-reader because my library has disappeared, I can't load books to the library, and can't copy anything to my e-reader because even though I have de/re-authorized it multiple times, it doesn't think anything that was copied is authorized, and now your software has screwed up Windows. Just the cherry on the cake.
Thank you. Thank you so much.

So, it's 'fixed'. I installed an older version of ADE and, miracle of miracles, it seems to be working. For now. What a joke, using 5 year old software to fix something.
The real fix will come when I get an e-reader that doesn't need unreliable, bug filled, unpredictable, software for me to be able to read e-books.
