Impossible to open ebook: E_ADEPT_HTTP_GET_NOT_SUPPORTED

Hi everybody,

today I bought a couple of epub protected with Adobe DRM.

I tried to open them with ADE, as usual, but following error appeared:

Schermata 2022-01-11 alle 15.56.02.png

As done in the past - once already happened - I deinstalled the program, deleted the activation key and re-installed ADE from zero with new activation.

Nothing to do, still blocked.

Last time I used it was Dec '21, no issue. Correct import and download of files bought on same website.

Is there anyone which could help me?

Thanks

Alessandro

I have the same error and can't find any way to reach support - exact same error and my classes start on Tuesday, 1/19 - any ideas how to fix this?  My account is authorized correctly.

Hi Tina,

the only solution I found is to use Bluefire Reader app on my iPad (it should be available also for Android if you need it) to open the .acsm files.

On the tablet I opened the app, selected the file (stored in the internal memory of the iPad) and then it asked me for the Adobe ID.

I put it and everything was ok, then I moved the extracted epub to my pc and then on the Kobo.

Everything worked fine.

If ADE will continue not to work, I'll pass through Bluefire and that's it.

Let me know if you need support but it's really simple.

A
