I have a newer Mac with M1 chip and OS 13 Ventura. I want to install Digital Editions to on my Mac to download books from my local library to transfer to my Nook eReader. Will newest version of ADE install and work on my Mac?

LATEST

I was able to install latest version of ADE (v4.5.12) on my Mac with M1chip and OS 13 Ventura. After downloading ADE, run the installer and your Mac should ask you if you want to install Rosetta. Click 'Install' button and it will install and then proceed with the ADE install. ADE should open automatically after the install. Rosetta enables Macs with an Apple silicon chip (M1) to use applications built for a Mac with Intel processors, such as ADE. If you want more information about installing Rosetta, go to the Apple Support website and search for Rosetta. ADE application works perfectly for me now. Good luck!
