Is anyone having trouble adding notes to adobe digital editions.

I am using adobe digital editions for a study book. I have been able to add notes & highlight up until today now all of a sudden these features are "greyed out". I am beyond frustrated as Adobe support tech says they are not trained on Adobe Digital Editions because it is a "free" product. Anyone have similar issue & how did you resolve it?

Bumping this post -- I'm still having this issue on 4.5.10.185749. Highlight is greyed out for ACSM files, but is fine on EPUB files for me (but EPUB messes up the layout of the pages, so ACSM would be preferred).

Is this a problem with OCR? If so, why can't we have the option to do a "manual" highlight as we can on Acrobat?

I too have this problem. Adobe? Where are you? Do you support your product or not?
