mac / iPad

using dropbox to get books from mac to iPad . book opens ok on mac . using exactly the same technique as with previous successful books i am moving books to iPad using dropbox . the books appear but are greyed out . when attempting to open i am directed to authorise my device which in any case makes no difference .
