Needing help with deactivating Digital Editions and getting code E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN

Deactivating my inaccessible device from my ADE account". I have a problem first when I tried to view and upload into my Digital Editions an eBook I checked out from the library. I received an error message "Error getting License. License server communication problem. E_ADEPT_NO_TOKEN" When I talked to the help desk about deactivating, I informed them I had to use it inactivated because I was unable to activate it since it stated that my username had been used on another computer. This is true. I had to purchase a new computer because my previous computer was unable to be fixed or logged into long enough to let me into its use. So, when I was told to go into it and deactivate it to log into the digital editions on my new computer, I told the help desk I was unable to due to the computer being out of compacity.
