Old Sony Books

I have a bunch of ebooks I had purchased through Sony some years ago.  Of course, Sony no longer has e-books.  While I had downloaded my sony books, I can no longer open them.  The ADE wants User Name & Unlock Code.  Just checking - but I assume all these books are now lost?
