ADE 4.5.7 is very slow during reading of ePapers, especially newspapers. Scrolling with mouse wheel takes a couple of seconds, until ADE reacts. Also zooming and changing pages is very slow. Compared to Acrobat Reader, the performance of ADE is dramatically worse, even on fast computers.
I ask Adobe to improve performance of their ADE product, otherwise it is simply not usable for reading ePapers and newspapers on Windows.
Do you have any tuning tipps or ideas how to improve the overall performance?
