RE: E_ADEPT_TOO_SHORT, What does this mean?

I started at the University of Cambridge (US) this year and they have digital books using Adobe digital editions.  I'm in the US but when I try to open a book. I get this message: 

E_ADEPT_TOO_SHORT

What does this mean and more importantly, how do I fix this?

This is closed. The file was corrupt and was reloaded by the school.
