Hello,
I was able to download and install Adobe Digitals Editions 4.5.11.187303 on my Windows 10 PC.
When I open the app, I can see my library and open my eBook.
Inside the book it's neither possible to change a page by scrolling with my mouse, go to a page by entering the page number nor search for a specific phrase or chapter. It's just nothing happens.
Anyone an idea? Is there a already known bug?

There are certain files that I am unable to open with Adobe digital editions like white paper provided by Kellton Tech White Paper. Is this problem with Adobe Installing or the file that I have got from Kellton Tech.

Hi. I am a first time user. Just installed this version today. I too am uing Win 10. I don't see some of these features available on this version. I don't know if they had it on an earlier verison of not. The only way I can change the page is to click on the little black arrow on the bottom right. Then the page moves. Or move the scroll bar. OR At the top left where you see libray there are two things next to it. A bookmark and a Table of Contents If you click the second one (Table of Contents) it can be expanded and you can expand the page list and jump to a chapter. I am guessing if you are reading and you want to stop then click on the bookmark icon (that's the first one near the Library at the op left). I think that should add a bookmarked page. Then you can open the bookmarked contents and find the last one you marked. To access bookmarked contents you will have to go batck to the Table of contents and open that and then move over to the bookmarked contents sections. AND I also see the search function there. That's the litter magnifying glass. You should be able to put a word or phrase in there and it should search within the book. Hope this helps. But 1 out of 3 answers isn't bad. I don't have scrolling or swiping nor do I see a place to put a go to page number. Anyway. I hope this was helpful if you already didn't figure it out.

Thanks for trying!
I just uninstalled and re-installed the program. One book does operate the way you say, including letting me use the PgUp and PgDn as well as arrow keys to navigate, as it should be.
All the other ways to navigate (using the page arrows, the contents, or the scrollbar), including inside Adobe's own manual, say they are changing the page according to the page indicator at the bottom of the page, but don't actually change the view. Trying to or search does nothing literally nothing since it doesn't go the search view.
It does save the page one tried to navigate to (i.e., if I tried to go to page 10 and the bar said I was on page 10, even though all I could see was page 2), then leaving the book and looking at the cover in the library view indicates I was on page 10. If I re-open the book, it's on a visible page 10. But this is no way to read a book! You should not have to set a bookmark - it should remember and open to your last page.
If it's working for you, that's great! I'm surprised Adobe seems to not care at all about current problems posted on their own support community website. 😞
I'm looking for an alternative that works.

Sorry this fully didn't resolve your issues. I played around some more with it and it's not the easiest thing. Too many steps to get a result. I was able to hightlight and bookmark the highlighted part. Then go to bookmarked section and then edit and then add a note there. With regards to page referal, I think it all depnds on your format. Like if you make the font bigger or how you display it. The content page list never aligns to the actual true book page. But it gets you close. You would think the scroll bar would show you the pages as you scroll with a pop up window, but it doesn't. The little page number box on the book I overwrote but it doesn't jump to page. It just overwrites it. I had two page 6's. I can see how this is not the smoothest way of reading. Maybe try doing a "clean" install. Not just uninstalling ADE but going in and removing registry keys then reinstalling - at least on Windows. Mac is different. Honestly, I dont' know. I don't want you to lose any books you have. I thought ADE could be used for EPUB and EPUB3. Maybe there are some differences on that. Wish I could be more helpful. If you have alternatives I would love to know what you found. I am just learning. Thanks for listening.
