Unable to get my iPad to see ebooks from Adobe Digital Editions 4.0 on my Mac

Getting beyond frustrated.Have reauthorised & authorised AdobeID both on my Mac & iPad.Can see & read Library ebook on my Mac.But iPad does not see it.Its not transferring.
