I had an Adobe ID under the email michael@trollope.org. I must have created this ID a decade ago, and probably longer. At some point Adobe deleted the ID account. I don't know why. What I do know is that I can continue to authorize devices for ADE with that email. But, that's scary - what if I bork up something - I have no Adobe account associated with that email. I have hundreds of DRM books that I bought and authorized with it. I've bought those books over the many years since I created the original ID. If I lose that authorization, for any reason, I have no way to recover it - no account associated with it.
I've more or less been shown the door by telephone support and the completely useless Adobe chat bot. I hope someone here can point me in the direction of a solution. The solution I would like is to have the email used by ADE for authorization be an email associated with an Adobe ID, without killing my access to my already purchased digital items, turning them into dust in the wind.
