why cannot i download?

why can't I transfer a book from the library to digital editions. when I show I want to borrow a book, it downloads and then I have to open it. it then won't open because of whatever. I never had to go through adobe 9 before. how can I fix this?

Has you install Digital Edition an your System and authorize with your Adobe ID?

Everything is installed and authorized. I just noticed that, on the ADE screen with downloaded books, my kobo is set to open with adobe flash player. Is this ok?
