ADE is not responding

When trying to opening the book (I've got 1) in my library, the cursor goes into spinning mode and (Not responding) shows on the top line for ADE. When double clicking the .acsm file, I get the error message "Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet". I have 2 accounts on Adobe, and the ebook is purchased with the old one, which I am using on ADE. When comparing computer authorizatio info and licencee on the book, it looks identical.

 

I have de- and re-authorized the computer, and restarted computer, multiple times. Any other tips?
