Adobe digital Edition scrolling issue on Macbook Pro

I am facing issues with scrolling through the books that I have bought online (DRM pdf).

As recommened in several other post, I tried using other lower version of ADE, viz 3.0, 2.0 including the latest 4.5. All version has the same issue. It looks like compatibility issue with Macbook.

I have faced similar issue with Acrobat reader with slow scrolling and as solution, I always used default "Preview" application. In this case since its a DRM protected, I cannot do that.

I also tried to contacting the customer care via chat service, but couldn't get any new information than found on this community. At the end was recommended back to ask in this community. Apparently, no one is really of any help at this point.

System environment, I am using:

- MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2019)

- macOS Mojave (v10.14.6)

- ADE Version 4.5

Please somebody help or guide me to escalate this issue.

I finally found a workaround for this issue, but its a long solution.

Solution: Use the PocketBooks Andriod app installed on the android studio's emulator.

Steps:

1. Install Android Studio

2. Create a Sample project

3. Go to Tools ->  AVD Manager

4. Create new android virtual device with Google Play Store support (eg. Pixel 3)

5. Start the virtual device

5. Sign in with Google Account

6. Install the "PocketBooks" app from Play store

7. Open "PocketBooks" app and add Adobe DRM account

8. Download ASCM file

8. Download ASCM file (provided by book vendors) and open with PocketBooks

9. Open the book, scroll, swipe

10. Change to Landscape mode for Android Virtual Device, zoom to fit the screen and use in on Mac

It's a lengthy solution, but the only one that worked for me.

Note: Bluestack, an alternative to the android studio,  was unable to render the PocketBooks content,

It's incredible to me that Adobe is doing nothing to fix this problem and that there aren't thousands of customers complaining on this site. It's almost impossible to read a book, it's the biggest pain I have ever seen in these things. How is this even a product? And they are listing as a "solution" this Android Studio thing, which does not even work on a MAC? Is this for real?  The app has one star and thousands of negative reviews. And they just don't care....
