Adobe Digital Reader won't open an epub edition from Draft 2 Digital.

Adobe Digital Reader won't open an epub edition from Draft 2 Digital. I can down load the epub, but then I get a message that says the it is not a supported file type. I can download and open a mobi file and a pdf.

In further fiddling with the file, I realize it goes to Adobe Reader and not to Adobe Digital Reader. Why would that be?
