ascm file doesn't open in ADE

When I download a book from the library, the download seems to work, and ADE opens, but there is nothing in it. Help. I've tried the download from both Explorer and Firefox.

Has you try to open directly over the digital edition?
Open Adobe Digital Edition

Go to fiile > Add to Library.

Choose the file which has download.

Thanks. I did try that, but the ascm file doesn't appear to be in the temporary folder (at least in ADE's eyes.) When I look in my downloads, the file is there.

At what point is the ascm file converted to an epub file? That seems to be where it disappears???
