authorization not possible

I installed ADE on my computer and tried to authorize the computer. After having ADE opened the option "authorize computer" was NOT enabled, so I tried to delete the existing authorization first. While trying to do so, a small pop-up window opens with an older email address (which was used in the past and linked with an older version of ADE, but however was deinstalled) instead of the actual address. The correct password was also not accepted, so the only remaining option is to cancel the entire process, which is of course not sufficient at all.

Any comments/remarks how to get this issue resolved?
