Kobo says it's not authorized, but it is!
I opened the book with ADE 4.5 on the computer. I can see and read it on the computer.
When I copy it to the e-reader it doesn't work!
Computer and e-reader have the same authorization - I checked it several times.
I already tried:
- Shut the e-reader on and off.
- Shut the computer on and off.
- delete the books from the e-reader and copy them on the e-reader again.
- de-authorize the e-reader and re-authorize it.
- de-authorize the computer and re-authorize it.
- delete the books from ADE and download them again.
- various combinations from above!
What's going on with ADE!?
It worked before and I didn't change anything.

Same issue. I've tried all the uninstalling and deauthorizing multiple times. The books still show up as black rectangles, and I get the message that it's not authorized. I can't install ADE 3.0 on my computer (doesn't run 32 bit apps). Is there any solution that would allow me to keep using my Aura H20? My version doesn't have the Overdrive app on the device.

Hey,
2 years later, and I have the same issue. I have a Kobo Aura, tried all the above, as well as tried ADE 4.5.11 and 3.0.1, nothing works. Kobo does not know how to help me. It seems as if the eReader authentication is just not working.
Any help?
