I have installed Adobe Digital Editions (desktop edition) on a computer with Windows 10. Meanwhile the computer died suddenly (motherboard issues). How to I de-authorize my Adobe Digital Editions account on this dead computer? All solutions I've found assume that the computer is working, and it does not seem possible to de-authorize remotely a device.

Since we can only have Adobe Digital Editions actived on 6 devices, this leaves me with 5 devices available. If my other devices (computer, smartphone, and ebook reader) fail on similar ways, I'm affraid I might reach a point where Adobe no longer let's me access the epub's I bought... Should I quit buying epubs which can only be read on Adobe Digital Editions, or there is a way to solve this problem?
