Hello, I was directed here from chat support operator. My client have a problem when try add to library acsm file. Error message like this:
How i can resolve my client problem ?
The error message indicates that there are problems when communicating the server from the vendor with the Adobe server.

I had the same problem today. Bought 3 different books ad downloaded them as usual. One is .epub, the other two are .acsm.
I added them in Adobe Digital Edition version 4.5.10 but I got the following error for the two .acsm ebooks only:
E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR
I can't download these two ebooks on my Kobo reader. The other one works as usual.
Anyone solved this issue?

The problem was solved today. I think somewhat went wrong with Adobe's server.
Now the problem is fixed and I can download the new books on the e-reader.
I hope the same for all the others who had the same issue.

I just installed adobe digital editions.
I authorized my computer successfully.
I can not download any ACSM e-books, not even the sample e-book from the adobe site:
https://www.adobe.com/hu/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/sample-ebook-library.html
I always get the E_LIC_LICENSE_SIGN_ERROR
I can download epub e-books, but not ACSM.
Any solution?

So frustrating to try to read, and get stuck in the computer for 2 hours.
Did anyone find some help fixing the problem or just bought a new reader?

Same error. It seems that it happens from time to time. Three days waiting without solution? How long should we wait?

After trying to open the ASCM file a few times a day for several days, it has suddenly just started working again this morning. I didn't do anything additional since my original attempts (uninstall, deregister, update program, tried different library). Apparrently it just fixes itself after a few days of frustration.

I have the same problem. I buy a book because it was faster than going to the shop, and after 2 hours, still cant open it because of adobe error.
Is any real support from adobe? I don't see any solution into this chat.

At least this confirms that it's not just us, and it's an error between Adobe and Archive.
It will be fixed soon, I'm sure.

There is no solution. This is a DRM issue between Adobe and Archive. Almost certainly a server problem on Adobe's side.
All you can do is wait.
