Error opening ebook-Message to me is "Author Unknown"- book is downloaded into NOOK

I have an old NOOK and together with ADE I was able to open ebooks. However, with my latest book downloads the books come into the NOOK but I can't open them because it says Author Unknown instead of the author's name. It  then says "sorry unable to open book" or it says "book returned". Anybody else experiencing this lately. I download from the New York City Public Library. Any advice?

Hi,

Just solved the problem for now. I read another reply to a similar problem I had and I downloaded ADE 3.0 instead of the current version of Digital Editions. The ADE 3.0 worked for me, my NOOK and the NYC Public Library books I had previously downloaded. Try this and see.
