How can you transfer highlights across devices?

On my pc I have highlighted some text. When I look at the document on my tablet or on my phone though, the highlighting is not there. How can I transfer the highlighting, such that I don't have to highlight all several times?

I used the auto-sync function, do the files should be the same.

In this case its seems no error. The data was save in the folder of Digital Edition and not in the file. It would not work.

Nothing. It was not supported at moment. Only the eBook was synchrony not the things in the file and also not the status of the reading.

I would also like this answered/fixed. The eBooks from my university library often need adobe digital editions to be the reader, and I use highlights and notes to organize my scholarship. Syncing across devices is a must.

Absolutely with you. I do not understand how some basic functionality is missed in all of Adobe products.
