Kobo Aura not showing up as a device in ADE on laptop

Hi there,

 I've been trying to transfer a book from my laptop - that I can see in ADE to my Kobo Aura. Both are authorized to the same Adobe ID. But when I plug in the Kobo to my laptop and click "connect" it doesn't show up as a device in ADE in order for the me transfer the book. Thoughts?
