Our domain prohibits the download and installation of software while logged in as a general user. We signed in a domain administrator, installed Adobe Digital Editions 4.5, and followed the URL to install the DRM locked PDF. The computer was authorized without an ID at first. When we logged in as the user, on the same exact computer, that user did not have access to the PDF. We logged back in as the administrator and signed in using the Adobe ID, which seemed to function well. When logged in as the user on the computer, however, we are unable to sign in using his Adobe ID credentials, saying that Adobe can not authorize on more than one computer (even though this is all being done on one machine).
Our goal: to have the general user able to open DRM locked files using Adobe Digital Editions while logged in as themselves. The file is over 3 thousand pages, so printing/screen grabbing and rescanning simply isnt an option.
