This is the first time I'm using ADE and man, was I in for a surprise! When I opened the installer, this old Windows Millenium installer came up and threw me back a couple of decades. I thought: well, they just didn't invest in updating the installer, all good. When I opened the ADE, the same type of interface opened. There is no resemblance to all the other Adobe programs I've worked with. Clearly, this is the deep dark back alley in Adobe Town. Is there any plan to bring it at least to the 21st century?
