stuck with the ID authorisation

i bought an ebook thinking it was a "normal" PDF but it's an adobe ebook so I downloaded the software in my laptop and downloaded the ebook too, without registering the laptop. As I want to read the book also on my phone I downloaded the app and registered the phone.

Of course, I couldn't see the ebook on my phone so I asked help and Adobe told me to deregister the laptop and re-register with my ID. Done that but now I completely lost access to the ebook:  it says that the vendor account is not associated with the item i am trying to open! the Help function at this point told me to go on the forum as she is "from account management and we do not support the ebook issue through chat", which leaves me speechless.

any suggestions to finally obtain access to the book from multiple devices?
