Please use your Adobe ID to authorize your ereader with the kobo desktop application or adobe digital editions.

I am getting this message and the only way to fix it is to reset my ereader, there has to be a better way, HELP!

Hi,

Can you try authorizing the kobo eReader in Adobe Digital Editions and then open the books in kobo device.

Please refer the screenshot attached to authorize the kobo eReader.

Yes, I have tried this and it works for a week or so, I have also reset to factory settings 3 times over the last year. I have also unistalled ADE and gone back to version 3 several times. Does this happen mostly when people update the ADE application?? This is an ongoing and frustrating situation and seriously making me think about what me next ereader will be.

It appears this is a well known issue and that you are giving people quick temporary fixes instead of finding the root of the problem.  Rika Orendorff
