Hi, I'm still struggling with the E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY. I've followed various suggestions to deauthorize my ADE, and when i try it looks as though it is going to work and then I get this message:
Unable to erase authorisation. Please try again after some time.
My downloads are working fine on my ipad; it's just the PC which is unhappy but that means I can't move ebooks to my KOBO. Very frustrating.
and like a previous enquirer, I can't work out what the Windows Run fix means.
all help gratefully received,
best wishes,
Hilla

Thank you, It worked! And this resolved the other problem also. I wish Adobe would include a list of error messages and fixes in their instructions, but the forum is awesome. Happy reading, Hilla
