Apply Same Graphic in Different Models at the same time

Is there a way to apply the same graphic to different objects in one go?

The ideal workflow would be, link that graphic or decal to the material and the apply the material in one go to the group, but apparently that can't be done either.

This is useful if let's say I want to apply the same graphic to a stack of 100 business cards I have modelled and bring to Dimension. A very plausible workflow if we keep in mind what Dimension has been designed for. If the sides or borders of the business cards have some kind of graphic or stack is not completely straight the graphic should be placed in all of them.

yes and no

Dimension is not designed to link graphics in the way you want but there is a hack I use... Dimension can have linked material, and that [non-Substance] material can include a graphic

Thanks for your answer.

Actually, Im trying that also and it is not working for me either.
I have applied the same material to the group of business cards. Then in one of the objects, went into the material, and in Actions, Place Graphic on model, and put that graphic ( a PSD file) as Fill ( because it is UV ready )

It doesn't seem to update the material in the rest of the object.

Am I following the wrong workflow?
- I have NOT unlinked the material in any of the objects.

- I AM using an Adobe standard material

Thanks for that again.

Aslo.you can use Copy/Past as Instance feature from Edit menu

1 Create one object.

2. Add decal on that object

3.Copy your model

4. Past As Instance "Ctrl +Shift+V"

5. All yur instances now connected as parent/child

6. Select decal for editing or replace decal from propertie panel or delete and replace with otuer decal, add any other decal or material
