Dimension not opening whilst working over VPN

New Here ,

Hi all,

Having some issues when connecting and using Dimension over VPN.

I'm connecting remotely from home on a laptop to my work PC.

I connect and work without any issues on other programs such as Illustrator/Photoshop but as soon as i open Dimension it will start to open but get stuck at 14%.

I have seen a couple of previous posts about the program getting stuck at 14% but there was no fix that i know of.

My I.T dept have looked into the network side of things and cant see any issues and as im using other programs with no problems it must be a DImension glitch??.....

Any help will be much appreciatted.

Adobe Dimension, like other Adobe Creative Cloud applications, can sometimes encounter issues when used over a VPN or network. These problems often stem from licensing and connectivity issues. Here are some common issues and potential solutions:

  1. Licensing Issues: Adobe applications may have trouble verifying licenses over a VPN. This can result in the software not functioning correctly. To resolve this, ensure that your VPN allows access to Adobe's licensing servers.

  2. Network Performance: Using Adobe Dimension over a VPN can lead to performance issues, such as lagging or slow response times. This is often due to the additional network overhead introduced by the VPN.

  3. Connection Errors: If you experience connectivity issues or errors when signing into or activating Adobe Dimension, it might be due to network restrictions or incorrect VPN settings. Adobe provides a guide to resolve connection errors, which includes testing your connection to Adobe's activation servers and resetting your hosts file.
