Hi everyone

When I had Dimension V1.0 installed it worked perfectly/

After the update to V2.0 it starts to launch and then nothing.

I have done all the necessary i.e:

1. Uninstalled using Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool

2. Manually removed all preferences and references to old files

3. Reinstalled

etc etc

No luck. Here are my specs:

Mac Pro 12 core 3.02Ghz

64 Gig RAM

High Sierra OS (10.12.6)

2 x Samsung ECO SSD's (one for OS, one for Scratch Disk)

16 TB storage (non raided)

Nvidia GT120 for bootup screen

Nvidia GTX789Ti for other 2 monitors

3 x Dell U2713 2K Monitors

Any advice would be appreciate beside asking me to Goth Mojave route lol. I won't of that because Mojave sucks

the first thing I would try is remove all the other screens [and software running them] from your system and see if Dimension will now boot with just the main?

if that works then the ram | gpu sniffer is the problem and you can:

  • use one screen,
  • wait for Adobe to fix their software i.e, tell it to open anyway like it used to instead of telling it to stop... fixing the actual sniffer to work correct would take Adobe more effort
  • use a reg hack to add fake ram or
  • go back to the old engine which does have transparently in rendors but don't allow as many file type options

Yeah I heard that Adobe is removing hardware limitation locks for Dimension soon.

The lockup us the GPU in this case with the sniffer stopping me dead in my tracks with a GTX780Ti

Will let u know if all is ok once a V2.01 is in place
