Export is fuzzy

Hi, please could anyone help me? 
I've been creating text and images in Dimension and it exports nicely but when I import it into illustrator or InDesign and add it to my project it gets fuzzy and unclear - not as sharp as the render in dimension. If I export my project it still doesn't help it saves slightly blurry. If you have any advice please let me know. Thanks!
