That can be a problem with Dn new requerament for MAC hardware type. You can try to use only your CPU by clicking on Dn setup icon to test if it work only on CPU.
Please also use https://feedback.adobedimension.com/forums/552559-adobe-dimension-feature-requests this is the best place to send info about your glitch.

Thanks, but where is the DN set up icon? The app just hangs on my mac pro, it's started working again on the Macbook after the update this week.

It's not good that we pay a subscription for these products and get very slow responses, with not much help.

As this issue hasnt been resolved or any info given as to have to solve it or when a patch will be updated, I've uninstalled it and moved back to blender.
