Hello there,

I´m facing a problem with my models.

This is a tent with sidewalls. (screenshot)

Now I need to cut windows into this sidewall.

We don´t work with modelling software.

Is there any chance to do this with dimension or substance or any other app in CC?

Thank you for help.

Rgds Hans

there are two options depending on the look you want to go for

opacity map = on or off

examples

1= https://community.adobe.com/t5/dimension-discussions/how-to-make-a-hollowed-sphere-and-add-a-hole-on-it-in-dimension/m-p/11697022

2 = https://community.adobe.com/t5/dimension-discussions/opacity-map-examples/m-p/11343234

the second option is translucency for that distorted look... Adobe changed drivers from Nvidia standard to Mac Metal and that pretty killed their 3D software
