I have opened up Adobe Dimensions to try it out and have both tried to go through the tutorial and try things out myself. But no matter what action I do the center area where the module should be displaying stays a blank grey no matter what models I drag in, what I change the materials to or how I change the camera view. I have even tried to render a single model with just the default material and the rendering has stayed in trying to calculate/estimate.
How do I go about fixing this? I am running other Adobe apps on my computer (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere etc) and these run fine so surely rendering a simple 3D cylinder isn't enough to bring my machine to its knees, there must be a setting I can change to make it display correctly.
Look forward to some advice, thank you.
I fixed mine through NVIDIA settings GT540M, hope this help

Thank you for the update Ussnorway. I have noticed that the issue was marked as completed way back in 2018, is it possible that it has not been resolved yet because of this? Should it be reopened?

in a nutshell, the team makes changes to the build all the time and that means this issue will not be fixed because it can keep coming back around... if we don't keep reporting it as it comes back around then the team will be unaware that it is still an issue
a gray screen = Dimension has failed to load everything it needs to run correct; that could be because your system is not up to the min standard, that some software [such as antivirus] is blocking it, that the os itself is blocking it or that parts of the system are being used by something else so Dimension doesn't have them when it needs to
to be clear, I have no control over the uservoice system and imo its part of the Adobe bubble problem
