I dowloaded a 3d file from turbo squid that comes in a variety of formats - FBX.rar and OBJ.rar and some others but I can't import it into Dimension (or even Blender for that matter). Do I need to unpack it somehow? I'm new to 3d.

wow, ok yes yes a rar needs to be unpacked in the same way a zip does
oddly Winzip is one of the best softwares to use on Mac
