issue importing an .obj file

New Here ,

Hello there !

I have an issue with importing 3D models.

A customer has sent me a .obj file, and after getting the UV windows and the marials, Dimension tells me it's impossible to import, and to refer to the right type of file supported.

I can't figure out what's happening, since I can open it in the 3D view in Windows 11....

Can someone help me with that please ?

Thanks in advance for your replies !

Have a nice day !

Patricia

The problem can be in the structure of meshes (polygonal or triangle) for your object. Generating UV's can't be a reason. If it possible try to get another format. Also you can try Adobe 3D Substance Painter if you have subscription for Adobe 3D Substance plan.
