newbie - accidentally did it just right

new to dimensions... on my first render, the light was so accidentally perfect with a nice edge light but the model shape was sloppy.... corners looked jagged. can't seem to replicate that edge highlight! tips?

the first image has 3 lights; top side and back... it looks like the 2nd image removed the back light or maybe just changed the angle so it doesn't show
