I have a new Lenovo Ideapad320 which has an AMD A12, 7th Gen, 8 gb RAM, and Radeon R7 graphics. The first time I was able to open Dimemsion and work with it for a little bit with no real issues. Since then have not been able to open - says system is not compatible. Please help.
In our next planned update we are removing system requirements as a blocking factor. We are testing that version now and you're welcome to join the Dimension CC Prerelease to get early access to that build and try it out.

Essentially what happens in this situation is that you have an integrated graphics card and the minimum amount of RAM (8GB). That RAM is actually shared by your entire system, so if you have other programs running it starts taking up RAM and then you don't have enough available for Dimension to run. Best bet would be to restart the system and shut down any extra programs to free as much resources as possible for Dimension. Dimension 'hard' checks at 7GB, so if you have less than 1GB being used by other programs you should be able to run it. If it dips below 7 you'll get blocked because we need that for all the texture and geometry processing.
