Sharpness and picture size in export

I have problems with getting pictures after rendering which are sharp and big enought to print out.

I only get the solution of 72 dpi - also when i render the biggest PSD file...

And i didnt check on the box deph of field - then it must be sharp everwhere or am i wrong?

Can you please share a screenshot of what you're seeing in regards to 'sharpness'?

For resolution, Dimension doesn't have any physical size (inches, centimeters, etc) so there are no DPI controls, we render out just a pixel value.  You can set the pixel value in Design Mode.

  • Select the Environment
  • In the Properties panel look for Canvas > Size
  • Set the Canvas Size to any pixel value

If you wanted a 10" file at 300 DPI that would be 3000 pixels.  We'll add in controls for this in the future!

The "Quality" setting in Render Mode does not affect resolution.  It affects the actual render quality (lighting, shadows, noise grain, etc.)

Oh thanks, sorry but i cant find a Properties / Canvas Size Option... where is it, i think its my solution of this.

sorry i didn worked, when i change it on the right colum pixel size it didnt come out after rendering like this. it alwys 1024 x 768 in 72 dpi
