Symbols in library

I'm very new to Adobe Dimension, but it doesn't seem to feature a library where you can save objects as symbols, and then add multiple instances of a single symbol to the stage, and when you edit the symbol, all instances get updated.

The same as in Illustrator & Animate, for instance.

That would be very useful!

because Dimension is not Illustrator and doesn't use vetors to make an image... if it did the system cpu [which is already pushed too far for most Macs] would have to do the math and Mac systems don't have true Gcard interface to help carry the load

 

still the correct place to ask dev team about new options is here https://feedback.adobedimension.com/

and if enough people vote for it then you can bet Adobe will try to bolt it on

Thew is a command in Edit Menu "Paste as Instance" that allows to linked object (instances) duplicates and edit them together. You nneed to Copy and Paste as Instance, not duplicate. Also in Action panel you can find Linked Materials icon that linked the same materials on different objects.

  

Paste as Instance Control + Shift + V Command + Shift + V
