Controlling camera zoom when publishing to a site

Curious if anyone has been able to solve (or if a plug-in is available) to control the camera zoom when publishing a 3D object after generating the link.

The camera currently is zooming inside of the object.  We'd like to have the interactivity of using the mouse to orbit around the model, however limiting the dolly zoom.

Has anyone had a similar issue and have been able to figure this out?
