Hi so i just brought the photography plan through the adobe website. I downloaded creative cloud, but when i go to download photoshop is gives me a 502 error code. Saying

Your Adobe serial number has expired or is invalid

Your serial number has expired or was illegally distributed.

Try genuine Adobe apps with a 7-day free trial.

But I brought it through the adobe website.

And also I never got a serial code. I've checkde in the products page but it just says to search for one. I've checked all my emails but it only says an order number.

overview:

adobe subscriptions don't use serial numbers so you should uninstall whatever you've recently installed from adobe that's triggering that error message, and then you should clean your computer of adobe files before restarting the installation process.

specific step-by-step instructions to be followed meticulously:

so, first if you installed the cc desktop app, follow each applicable step.  some (like uninstall cc apps won't apply to you if you installed none):

uninstall every cc app including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes...

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
check for, and if available, update your os

repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired.

update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
