788 hours to download flash??? Really??? The first time, I thought that I had it downloaded, then got the error that there was not enough disc space...really? Do I need more than 320GB? I didn't think so.
What's up Adobe? I have tried both of my computers, three different browsers on each and still do not have a trial copy of Flash 5.5 professional downloaded. I think the download assistant is more of a hindrance than an assistant.
I need this version for a class. I already have CS4 Design Premium, thought I might buy the CS5.5 Web Premium when student financial aid hits, but I guess not because I will have to drop the class before the download completes.
Oh, by the way, I did the suggestions from the troubleshooting and nothing changed. In the time it took to write this the download assistant now says 2222 hours!

For a quicker response, I would suggest that you post your query in the Flash Player Installation forum: http://forums.adobe.com/community/flashplayer/installing_flashplayer

The o/p is talking about Flash Professional, not Flash Player.

Sorry about that. I am trying to download Flash Pro 5.5 Professional and the estimated time is 12 minutes. So far the progress has been pretty smooth.
At the risk of stating the obvious, can you check the download speed on your computer? If that's great, then you can contact customer support (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/) or wait for a response on this forum.
