I cannot open my illustrator. It continues to ask me to login then says my account has expired. My photoshop still works and the account is still active.
I have already changed the internet preferences and uninstalled/reinstalled illustrator.
check your account to verify your subscription is what you expect and to verify your adobe id, https://accounts.adobe.com
if your account shows both subscriptions, sign out and then back in to your cc desktop application using the same adobe id used to verify your subscription: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

What a frustrating experience just trying to evaluate your products?!? Although I was granted 7-day trial and can use the somewhat limited web versions, downaloading and installing Acrobat Pro results in the app endlessly prompting me to log in; on each success, it asks me repeat ad nauseum, ad infinitum, and so on until I give up! What a waste of time!!!

Well, you certainly didn't get a good answer and neither did I, who came here looking to see why in the world do I need to sign in to my account just to use adobe products?! and I'm not using web versions. I've been using Adobe products since Photoshop v1 - though if there were any decent competitors, at this point, I'd switch - this sign in bull is nonsense and prevents a good work flow. Just pisses me off at Adobe!

I was directed here by your ai bots (it's often a bit confusing to get to the right spot on this site.) Though my comments are related to the subscription issue and getting help on them. I have other application subscriptions and don't have to sign in everytime I launch one of their apps, so just really perplexed and frustrated why Adobe couldn't figure out a better system. I renewed my subscriptions back in August, but it wasn't until yesterday that all of sudden there's a requirement to sign in to my account, so it was a surprise.

you have a subscription and don't understand why you have to sign in (to confirm your subscription is paid)?
if yes, how frequently are you being asked to sign in and on how many computers are you using your subscription?

thanks for the question - yes, is the short answer - I have a paid subscription and don't understand why I have to sign in everytime I launch an Adobe application. As I've mentioned, I also have a MS Office subscription and I never have to log in to anything, just laund the app and start working. And as to Adobe, up until this week, I never had to sign in to anything - unless I wanted to download, or update my apps. As to frequency, this week, every time I go to open anything by Adobe, it's asking me to sign in. Currenty I only have one computer using the subscription (iMac with M1 chip - OS Sonoma 14.6.1)

Thanks. I tried that. Just got a different bot. I don't believe I ever got to a real person, considering how 'off' it was in understanding what I was asking for. While I was in the chat waiting for the 'agent' to get back to me, I did some searching and found what I needed, but the chat feature did not provide any help.
