Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Pro -- registered my serial # online, but no download link

I have a retail version of Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Pro for Windows and activation of the installation from the CD is no longer possible.  The links to download a special version that purportedly will work are no longer valid because it has been so many years ago.  How can I find a download of this program so that I may use my current serial number to get a working version on my ancient computer?

You can't activate Acrobat 8. It's a dead program.
