Sequence of events

After running some clean up tools Adobe Creative Cloud closed and looked to me to have been deleted.

I then Downloaded and Ran Creative Cloud app setup exe, installation progress 5% and progressed no further.

Ended setup.exe in task manager and downloaded exe file again.

Ran the exe file and again the installation stuck at 5% progress

Repeated the above several times, results were the same.

Gave up.

Started Lightroom Classic, program appeared to be running ok. Imported some raw files from an SD card.

Throughout the time Lightroom was running an "AdobeIPCBroker.exe - Application Error" kept popping on to the screen "Application unable to start correctly (0xc000007b) click ok to close the application.

I have not been able to resolve this problem and would greatly appreciate some assistance.

Sorry to hear you are facing so many problems, Micka89234430.  What is the name and type of clean up tools that you used on your Windows computer?  What version of Windows are you running?

Hello Jeff, the name of the program is System Mechanic and I'm running windows 10. I have to confess I have now resolved the issue by using adobe community support to lok at more options  and thanks to some prevoius questions and answers in a similar vein I tried using adobe's uninstall app for creative cloud. I selected the uninstall option and I could'nt see anything happening so I instinctively ran adobe uninstall again and selected the repair option. I now have a fully functional creative clloud app.

I realise the problem was caused by my actions in my use of System Mechanic and nothing to do with Adobe.

Thank you very much Jeff for your quick response.
