Adobe Portfolio photo grid option...

New Here ,
Jan 13, 2020 Jan 13, 2020

Hi to everyone, i'm starting getting my photography website and wanna ask how it is called the function where when you pass the mouse over a photo in a grid (ex in the home) the photo change and show another image? I've updated some photos to the grid in home but don't find this option. I see it in examples profiles , here: https://chrislukesmyth.co.uk

Look his Home, pictures change where mouse pass by.

What can i do to do this with Portfolio?

[Moved from Community Help (which is about the forums) to a better forum... Mod]

Thankyou

Fabio

Your example site uses the LUKAS Theme.  No PhotoGrids.  The same-sized project cover images appear to have a rollover effect.

I thought there used to be a forum for Portfolio? I have a Portfolio question, don't know how to get an answer.

Hi Nancy,
I also have LUKAS theme, yet I didn't understand how to upload photos without PhotoGrid. and I also wish them to be the same sized project cover.
Could you please guide me on how to do that?

I create  same sized project cover images in Photoshop and export them.  See my screenshot from Photoshop's Export As panel.   I prefer to keep file size down to promote a faster loading web page.

  1. After my cover images are all optimized for the web, I create a new project page in Portfolio.
  2. Upload media, insert some text & images.
  3. When prompted, upload the cover image for that project.
  4. Repeat for other project pages.
  5. When done, the resulting Gallery (landing page) will contain a grid of all your project cover images.
  6. See link below
